Welcome to ahealingplaceonline.com,
the web site of
A Healing Place
A
healing and teaching practice
in Philadelphia
We all
know the directive -
- healthy eating
- regular exercise
- some sort of
practice to relieve tension and stress
In today's busy world, it can
be difficult to find the time to take care of yourself.
Yet it's exactly this
busy-ness that makes
self-care so important! And there are so many choices! With
all
of the styles of yoga, tai chi, meditation, even chi kung that abound
today it can be difficult to decide what to do.
The answer is
simple:
|
Find the practice, the style and
the teacher that work for you; so that you will look forward to classes
each week and in time develop your own personal practice in addition to
your weekly instruction. |
|
You'll be
surprised and delighted to
see how simply one class per week can make a change - and over time,
you'll notice that the benefits 'overflow' into the rest of your life.
A
Healing Place
offers classes, workshops and retreats and private
sessions that are good for you - body, mind, heart and spirit.
There's no
pressure to perform and
no dogma. You will find, and develop, what suits your needs. There is
no single 'place', either. Open classes and workshops are held at
several locations in Philadelphia. Private group workshops and classes
can be brought right to your workplace. And private individual sessions
take place at any of the class locations or in the privacy of your own
home. You might say A
Healing Place is a place without walls; not so much a
physical space but rather a state of being.

“Teaching
and Healing is the work of
my heart and spirit. My intention is
to
create a safe and supportive
experience, that
“healing
place”
which is not so much a physical space
but
rather a
state of being.”
